Comcast delivers cheaper internet to the seniors!



Over at Comcast, a plan is being developed on launching pilot schemes for its low-cost internet service, tailored towards senior citizens. Released in parts of the US (San Francisco, Palm Beach County and Florida), it forms part of Comcast’s Internet Essentials service, which first launched in 2011. This service offers cheaper internet connections to low-income families. The scheme provides 10 Mbps of data connection (which is currently set to be doubled) for just under $10, which is £6.38.
